The Cove

Workshops, Meditations, and Exercises for Emotional Health & Spiritual Cultivation

The Cove is a membership to help you strengthen your emotional health and spiritual connection.

You are meant to live an emotionally healthy, fulfilling, and vibrant life.

The Cove is a welcoming and calm place to help you build and maintain the skills to do that.

To live a emotionally healthy, fulfilling, and aligned life, having a strong relationship with your emotions is critical.

Most of us were never taught how to be aware of, feel, and express our emotions in healthy ways. Or the other skills needed to feel authentic and purposeful in our lives.

The Cove is the place to learn how to have a healthy relationship with your emotions, your spirituality, and yourself, so you can get more out of your life.

What is the Cove?

What is included in the Cove?

The Cove is a monthly membership that includes regular live 90 minute workshops taught via Zoom (at least 3x/month), plus a robust video library with pre-recorded workshops, meditations, and teachings, membership forums to connect with community, and a free 30 min intro call with Sam to discuss how to get the most out of the Cove and tailor your experience.

What is in the video library?

The video library contains many resources, including meditations, teachings and transmissions (5-30 min videos where Sam describes important concepts and learnings), and pre-recorded and live workshops to help you practice and reflect.

How much does it cost?

The first month is $22/month (with the code FIRSTMONTH). After the first month, the price is $55/month. You can cancel at any time.

For $22, you can attend a few workshops and watch some videos, and if you like it, stay longer.

What are the workshops about and when are they taught?

Workshops are where you practice the skills you need and take time to reflect. For example, there are workshops for different emotions (fear, shame, joy, hope), where you practice identifying, feeling and expressing them. Workshops also expand on spiritual concepts, mindsets, and intentional living (e.g. intuition, manifestation, values, relationships).

Workshops are scheduled on Wednesday nights at 7 pm CT.

Who is this for?

This is for anyone who cares about self-growth and personal development, and wants to understand themselves better. The Cove is especially focused on helping you better identify, process, and express how you are feeling, and explore what you want out of life and how to get it.

All genders, religious beliefs, and ages are welcome. If you are new to self-growth, you are welcome, and if you are advanced in these practices, you are also welcome. It is designed to reach a variety of people.

What results can you expect?

By committing to the tools and resources provided in The Cove, you can expect to experience:

  • Greater Alignment and Clarity: Gain direction and focus in life, feeling more aligned with your true self.

  • Emotional Freedom: Develop a healthier relationship with your emotions, allowing you to navigate life with ease.

The Methodology Behind the Cove

I use the Wild River healing method - a method and organizational tool that I developed - in all of my work, including the Cove.

If each focus area is strengthened to a minimum level, it is inevitable that you will be living an emotionally healthy, fulfilling, and vibrant life. It is the natural result of working through the 3 phases.

As you crave and desire more in your life, you will likely need to reach another level in these phases. As you grow and mature, you complete the wheel again and again and again.

The content in the Video Library and the workshops are organized by each of the nine categories. Each Cove member gets a free introductory call with me (Sam), and I will direct you to the few categories to focus on now to get the results you are looking for.

The Mission: Why Did I Create the Cove?

Almost every issue, dysfunction, and struggle that I have heard about in the hundreds of sessions I have conducted, or come across in my life, is caused or made worse by poor emotional health. (Emotional health is the ability to understand, manage, and express emotions in a balanced and constructive way.) It is an epidemic. Most people are not aware of their emotions or the invisible ways that unprocessed or ignored emotions impact their decisions, confidence, relationships, ability to vision, and energy.

Emotional health is a foundational skill that is essential for strong relationships, to successfully pursue big dreams, to share vulnerably, to lead effectively, to identify what you want out of life and make it happen, and to maintain a sense of inner peace through the up and downs of daily life.

Similarly, spirituality is often ignored or minimized, yet spiritual practice can provide profound peace, clarity, and fulfillment.

Despite its importance for our well being, there are not many resources to develop your emotional health and spiritual connection. Many of the resources available require a significant time, resource, and financial investment. Further, this work requires regular attention and practice, yet there aren’t a lot of support systems for maintaining emotional health over time.

If you want to work on your physical fitness, you can learn about exercises on your own and figure it out yourself or you can go see a personal trainer. But you can also go to a group fitness class, like cycling or yoga. You can spend an hour improving your fitness, with a great guide, at an accessible price.

I noticed that with practicing emotional awareness and regulation, there weren’t many options. You can find journal prompts and exercises online and try them at home, or see a practitioners for regular support (like a therapist, coach, or healer), but there wasn’t a middle ground.

It is tremendously valuable to have a guide and a teacher, as well as set aside time to work on these parts of yourself. Sometimes you need 1-1 support, and the Cove cannot replace valuable work with a mental health practitioner, but sometimes you just need some guidance and dedicated space to reflect. I wanted to create that.

I want a place to exist where anybody looking to learn about themselves, get out of a rut, and grow as a person can have a place to do that, at an accessible price and manageable time commitment.

Everyone should have the opportunity to work on their emotional health and spiritual well-being. The Cove can be your place.
